An Outlook
India is one of the fastest growing major economies. Its GDP today is $ 3.5 trillion and is expected to surpass $7.5 trillion by the year 2031. India will be over $ 2 billion in retail sector by 2032. India has the world’s third largest unicorn base and has more than hundred unicorns valued at $ 332.7 billion.
Despite of the humongous growth potential, a major part of the population is neglected at the work front - women. As per a Google- Bain Report, India’s working-age population will surpass an unprecedented 1 billion by 2030, and up to 400 million women’s economic potential may be left unaddressed.
